Sometimes the dead do not stay dead, and the living are not who they say they are.

It is 1981, Dylan 'Wolfy' Wolfendale’s first year in Comprehensive school, but it’s not just the bullies he needs to worry about. It’s the dead.

Able to traverse realms with ease, Dylan soon discovers that he’s destined to escort souls to the afterlife.

The peace of Draigwen, Wales, becomes shattered. People are being murdered; their bodies decomposing in seconds, rather than days. Unwilling to believe that there are dead men walking, the police are baffled.

Dark shadows become real, bodies are snatched, and a supernatural demon rampages through Draigwen. The realm of the dead is slowly being breached, and supernatural events cause an unlikely partnership between Dylan, his school friends, and police officer, Fiona Brasking.

Can they stop what is already dead?

Stranger things are happening in Draigwen, Wales.

It's the first year at Draigwen Comprehensive School for friends Dylan, Mark, Slinky and Mossy.

Making friends isn't always easy, but Dylan has an abundance of friends, albeit dead ones.

Bullies are rife, feeding off the weaker kids, but it's not just their peers that the boys have to contend with, it's the teachers.

Some teachers, like Mr Harwood, thrive on the fear in their student's eyes and take pleasure in dishing out harsh punishments to maintain discipline. With the help of an array of 'weapons,' Mr Harwood scars his pupils in more ways than one.

Yet, something darker is spreading through the town of Draigwen ...

Doorways to the realm of the dead.

Dylan begins seeing doorways to another dimension; foggy exits hovering by each living soul in readiness for their departure.

Beyond those doors lies a transitional realm where dark twisted souls are beginning to gather, desperate to return to an earthly vessel.

Slipping out of his body with ease, Dylan traverses the sepia veil between worlds, but he's not alone.

A shadowy figure stalks the graveyard and a demonic entity is ripping souls from the living and stealing their bodies.

Who, if anyone, can Dylan trust?
